A collection of watercolour and mixed media images based on things that I've seen when I've been out running over the years.
I grew up in York. I used to see a pen of Jersey cows when I ran through the Yorkshire countryside each morning before work. I love working in watercolour because, despite what many people say, I find it to be quite versatile and forgiving- it leaves a lot of room for play and experimentation with colours.
Another thing that I frequently passed was this bush covered archway over a countryside wooden style. The bush was forever changing with the seasons.
Running through the Aberdeen countryside, I often see a field of bulls, with some of them looking out at me.
Some greylag geese that I used to see when running along the River Foss in York. In June the goslings appear.
